Legion 289
Local Legion 289 is located in the basement of the Killarney-Glengarry Hall at 2828 28 St. SW. Please use the side entrance, not the main hall doors, to visit.
Everyone is welcome—no membership is required! Families can enjoy the main area. The Legion hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including Steak Night, Horse Races, Crib Tournaments, Meat Draws, and much more.
The Legion is always looking for volunteers and new members. Visitors are invited to drop by or reach out for more information.

Saturdays: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Sundays: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Closed Sundays during the summer)

October:
Saturday, October 4 - Horse Races and Hot Dogs
Sunday, October 19 - Crib Tourney - lunch served - $10.00 - starts at 1:00 sharp.
Sunday, October 26 - BINGO at 1:00
Friday, October 31 - Steak Night - $15.00 – it is also Halloween – Prizes for best costume
November:
Tuesday, November 11 - Remembrance Day Ceremony. Doors open at 10:00AM with the service starting at 10:30AM. A light lunch will be served afterwards.
