Legion 289
Local Legion 289 is located in the basement of the Killarney-Glengarry Hall at 2828 28 St. SW. Please use the side entrance, not the main hall doors, to visit.
Everyone is welcome—no membership is required! Families can enjoy the main area. The Legion hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including Steak Night, Horse Races, Crib Tournaments, Meat Draws, and much more.
The Legion is always looking for volunteers and new members. Visitors are invited to drop by or reach out for more information.

Saturday, December 6 - Horse Races and Hot Dogs - 3:30pm
Sunday, December 14 - Crib Tourney - lunch served - $10.00 - starts at 1:00 sharp.
Saturday, December 20 - Christmas Party and Potluck- gift exchange (value $15.00-$25.00) - Prize for ugliest Christmas sweater - 3:30
Thursday, January 1 - Levee at 2:00 PM - Dress Business Casual (no jeans) - Moose Milk will be provided - Potluck finger food
