Killarney-Glengarry Community Association

Location: 2828 28 St SW

KGCA Playground

Located at the Killarney-Glengarry Community Hall, this playground is located right next to the tennis courts and parking lot. Various equipment is available for play, plus the playground also has a publicly accessible fire pit for use.

Tennis/ Pickleball Courts

Operated by the City of Calgary and located next to the Killarney-Glengarry Community Hall, two tennis courts are available for use on a first come first serve basis. The courts have been adapted to accommodate pickleball as well. The City of Calgary advises “players are limited to 30 minutes of playing time if there are people waiting to play on all City-owned courts.” The courts can also be booked for special events or tournaments here.

Field

Operated by the City of Calgary, located just north of the Killarney-Glengarry Community Hall, this spacious field is available for a variety of activities. Home to Triwest Soccer during the spring, it provides plenty of space for play and recreation.


The Killarney Aquatic Centre

Location: 1919 29 St SW

With a heated pool and dive tank, a terrific weight and cardio gym, and a bright fitness studio, the Killarney Aquatic Centre is the perfect place for kids and adults to stay active. There is also an expansive playground, basketball court, soccer field, and baseball diamond available for use.


Killarney Off-Leash Dog Park

The Killarney Off-Leash Dog Park offers year-round fun for the whole family with a range of playground equipment, an expansive open field, and a dedicated off-leash area for dogs. On this lot, the Good Companions 50 Plus club also operates the Senior Centre. For more information about the club, visit here.

Public Park

Located on the intersection of 30th Ave and 26th St SW, this public park offers a variety of playground equipment and an open field for play!

Kildare Park

Located south of Holy Name School, the Kildare Park offers an open field for play, picnic tables, and a variety of playground equipment.

Killarney School

With the motto “Learning Takes Place in Everything We Do,” Killarney School is committed to the individual growth, development, achievement and the success of children. The school offers a morning and afternoon Montessori Kindergarten program, Grade 1-6 Montessori program, and congregated stop busing.

École Holy Name School

With a commitment to children, learning, and excellence, Holy Name School is a French Immersion elementary school within Calgary Catholic School District. The French Immersion program is designed for students who have little or no background in the French.
